Written Reflection
I am not putting a video up for the reason that I do not have the means to be able to ie. (no video camera or YouTube account).
So here are the questions posted on the FFP CHCI website and my answers to them.
Q) What are my/our strengths and weaknesses?
A) My strengths are that I look out for others almost all the time, but others see this as a weakness because some people would use me to their own uses. Strengths of all of us was that we were in the same room for the most of all our classes and this help make new friendships or open eyes to the ones we already had.
Q) What could I do to improve myself and society?
A) I would like to not trust people as much but I don't see that happening. As for improving society I think some actually need to trust MORE because everybody is always expecting that back stab and do it first, ruining friendships.
Q) How has this simulation experience changed my attitude and outlook?
A) I has opened my eyes to the tough reality that I am not prepared for this world, that most my age aren't, and that adults think we are.
Q) What about the experience shocked me and what can I learn from it?
A) It shocked me that I couldn't get a job because I used all my skills in the simulation to try and get one, so I'm worried for my future.
Q) What did I really begin to understand about law, government, and/or society?
A) I began to understand that the government will always be corrupt and will never truly care for the people, so when I choose who I vote for I will Know how it truly works.
Q) How has this experience prepared me for reality?
A) Look above
Q) What about the experience did I find frustrating/depressing/upsetting, and what can I learn from it?
A) I found that once someone was in control of a very valuable resource that they could not truly be trusted.
